When I first got into precious metals in the summer of 2015, I took a lot of flak from a lot of people. For the longest time, I was this person who was pounding the table, spewing the virtues of investing for cash flow/passive income, and then all of a sudden, I took this massive detour and decided to do something altogether unrelated…
After locking down my last rental property in early 2015, soon after, I decided enough was enough…
Real estate, stocks, bonds, all that good stuff was no longer cheap, but in my eyes encroaching on and selling at nosebleed territories.
So, even though I had completed two separate cash out refis to pull out ~$200,000 in fresh funds, I was perplexed as to what to do with all that capital.
Nothing looked cheap…
I guess I’ll just hold cash?

Another week, another flurry of moves for my mining portfolio. I’m sorry, I can’t seem to sit still and I keep constantly finding the need to tinker something. It’s a pretty active management, which is why I can understand why a lot of investors don’t want to dive in too deep into the Game of Rocks.

I still remember the first time I laid eyes on a Tesla Model S — It was in 2013 and one of my former co-workers had just purchased one and was showing it off to everyone in the parking lot. Right then and there I knew that I had to have one too…
Only difference was by 2013 I was totally absorbed with the whole early FI game so my focus was on investing, of course…

Outside of the cryptocurrencies, the performance of cobalt has to rank as one of the strongest performers so far in 2017. Since the beginning of the year, the spot price of cobalt has climbed from ~$15/lb to continue reading at Seeking Alpha…

In the last post, I mentioned that I felt like Clean Energy Boom 2.0 was fast approaching. If I learned anything from last year, it’s that when Elon Musk is about ready to make a major announcement to the market, it’s time I start actively paying attention!
